Terms and conditions

By participating in the competition, you are agreeing to these competition terms and conditions. The competition is being run by Drayton Manor Resort in partnership with Swizzels.

Eligibility to Enter

  • The competition is open to entrants who are at least 18 years of age or older. Drayton Manor Resort and Swizzels employees and associates are excluded from the draw.
  • To be eligible to enter, you must be residing in the United Kingdom.
  • By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and that you are eligible to receive any prizes that may be awarded to you.
  • There is a limit of one entry per person and the competition is completely free to enter.
  • Competition closes at 5pm on Monday 4th November 2024.
  • Hotel stay will be at Drayton Manor Hotel between 28th March 2025 – 30th September 2025 in a standard room, subject to availability.
  • Tickets/Hotel stay cannot be transferred or rearranged once a date has been agreed.
  • Prize is for 2 adults and 2 children only; this cannot be amended.
  • Drayton Manor Resort reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to cancel the competition or amend these terms and conditions

The Prize

  • The winning prize will be as stated on this webpage subject to availability.
  • The winner will receive a ‘Stay and Play’ package which includes an overnight stay in a standard room with two-day theme park ticket that must be used consecutively.  The short stay will be available during the main season (28th March – 30th September 2025). You will also receive a Swizzels bundle.
  • The use of specific brands as prizes by Drayton Manor Resort does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands.
  • The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be provided.
  • We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control require doing so.
  • Drayton Manor Resort’s decision on any aspect of the competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
  • Two-day theme park tickets are applicable for main season only and when the park is open on both days of stay
  • This offer is subject to change. Drayton Manor Resort reserves the right to amend, alter the conditions or withdraw this offer at any time without prior notice.

Two-day theme park entry 

  • The tickets must be used on consecutive days of the overnight stay and cannot be moved to a future date.
  • If the theme park is closed on one day of your stay, the second day ticket is no longer applicable.

Exclusive Early Access 

  • 30 minutes VIP early access (10am – 10.30am) for selected rides in Thomas Land during Staffordshire school holidays and weekend.

Buffet Breakfast

  • Breakfast is available from 7am – 10am every day.

Children’s Evening Entertainment & Character Breakfast

  • Free for all hotel guests
  • Children’s entertainment is available throughout the Staffordshire school holidays and on Friday and Saturday evenings when the theme park is open. This is normally scheduled between 6.30pm and 8.30pm in main season.
  • Character breakfast is available throughout the Staffordshire school holidays and on Saturday and Sunday mornings when the theme park is open. This is normally scheduled between 8.30am and 9.30am. You will need to book breakfast around these times.

Mini Golf 

  • To be played in daylight hours
  • Collect balls and clubs from the Hotel Reception

Winner Announcement 

  • The winner will be chosen at random and notified via the email address provided by 30 days of competition closing
  • Drayton Manor Resort will make two attempts to contact the winner via email.
  • If the winner does not respond to the emails informing them of their win within 48 hours of the second email, they forfeit their right to the prize, and Drayton Manor Resort reserves the right to select and notify a new winner.
  • The Winner will be contacted VIA email only by Drayton Manor Resort to arrange the hotel and park tickets.

Data Protection and Publicity

  • You agree that any personal information that you provide when entering the competition will be used by Drayton Manor Resort for the purposes of administering the competition and for other purposes as specified in our Privacy Policy.
  • All entrants may request information on the winning participant by emailing marketing@draytonmanor.co.uk
  • If requested by Drayton Manor Resort, the winner agrees to release their first name to other competition participants.

Limitation of Liability 

  • Drayton Manor Resort accepts no liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by entrants as a result of participating in the competition or being selected for a prize.
