We rescued our greyhound Stanley from a very unpleasant existence and my daughter wanting others to benefit from his gentle ways,voluntarily takes him to help anxious,shy children as a reading dog. There is no lovelier sight than a child curled up with a book reading to this ever patient ,non judgemental,totally focused gentle creature. He helps children with low self esteem who find it difficult to read to adults or with other children and reduces their stress and anxieties. My daughter so deserves to win this as a token of appreciation for sharing her lovely dog and her time.
