My lovely and bestest friend of 20 years, Sheonad, works in a hospice as a palliative care doctor and juggles this with charity work for Muscular dystrophy uk and She is chair of Scottish council and trustee for this charity . At home she has a fabulous husband David and 2 wee girls, Niamh and Eilidh. Eilidh was born with SMA which is a genetic disorder that stops her muscles working. She is dependant on an electric chair and her parents to support and look after her 24/7. They get no respite and are exhausted. She deserves a break.
