I was at school and it was a school fair. I knew this boy fancied me but did not take to much notice. He then put a love heart on my desk saying 'be mine' . After that he brought me various presents of sweets and small gifts.

funny you had a picture of rainbow drops, my sister and I used to divide then into colour we liked and then each colour had to be sorted into how much coating they had. Then we used to put the least coating and the most coating into a pile and play 'ipp dip doo' to who go the best pile!

I remember when I was 7 years old for my birthday I received a bag of the double lollies and a bumper mixed bag of Swizzels-Matlow sweets.My mum had put them in to this container that was shaped like a little pedal bin and you press the button and the lid popped up so you could store your treasures in it.I always used it to keep my sweets in and I loved them so much.I always attribute the bumper bags with my childhood.

My best memory was when I was 8 the kind but very quiet next door neighbours used to put a jar of sweets or a handful of sweets through the over grown hedge for me and my sisters every now and then we would see a jar or hand magically appear I remember being very excited about it and I later found out that they were a husband and wife with a disabled young son I wish I could thank them for a magical memory but that was 28 years ago :) x

we used to play doctor and nurses as kids, we used fizzlers as tablets to make the patient feel better! it caused a few fights.. but my kids still play today :)

When we were kids we used to play a game with Rainbow Drops.. We poured them onto a tray and using drinking straws would race to suck up a drop and pop it into bowl.. After 1 minute whoever collected the most was crowned the winner and got the Rainbow Drops xx

My boyfriend spent his pocket money on a packet of lovehearts for me and I did the same for him. On our first date, he bought me two packs of swizzels lollies, which I shared with my three brothers and sister. Then on Halloween, we both returned with full buckets after a succesful trick or treat; at least half of the sweets were swizzels.
