Advertising Rules

Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

No purchase necessary.

  1. The co-promoters are:
  2. Swizzels Matlow Limited (company no 00562269) whose registered office is at Carlton House, Albion Road, New Mills, High Peak, Derbyshire, SK22 3HA
  3. On The Beach (company no 03162982) whose registered office is at 5 Adair Street, Manchester, England, M1 2NQ
  4. Promotional period: 1st July 2024 – 31st August 2024.
  5. Employees of Swizzels Matlow Limited and On The Beach or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.
  6. Entrants must be 18 years old and above.
  7. There is no entry fee.
  8. To enter this Prize Draw you will need to:
    1. Visit swizzels.com/minions-win and complete the online form to provide your full details (full name, email address, and telephone number)
  9. Closing time / date for entry 11:59pm on 31 August 2024. A winner will be chosen and informed within 7 working days from that date.
  10. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  11. There will be one main prize winner, whose name will be chosen at random by the promoters. There will also be 10 runners-up prizes
  12. The main prize is:
    1. A holiday voucher of up to £5,000.
    2. Swizzels sweets and Minions merchandise
  13. The runners up prizes are:
    1. 10x sweet hampers and Minion’s merchandise
  14. The prize in whole or in part is non-transferable.
  15. The winners will be contacted by e-mail. If the winners cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 48 hours of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from them and pick a replacement winner.
  16. The co-promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  17. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the co-promoters.
  18. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
    1. Insofar as is permitted by law, the co-promoters, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the co-promoters, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. All entrants’ statutory rights are not affected.
    2. In any event, liability of the Promoter is limited to the maximum value of £100.
    3. The co-promoter is not liable for any costs incurred by winners in the redemption of the Prize.
  19. Neither the Promoter, its employees or agents shall have any responsibility or liability for any of the following:
    1. Any incorrect or inaccurate entry made;
    2. Any system failures on any of the websites or platforms being utilised to run the Competition;
    3. Any third party’s failure to fulfil its obligations under these Terms and Conditions; and;
    4. Any third-party failure that results in the interruption or cancellation of the Competition and/or any Prize that may be associated with the Competition.
  20. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
  21. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, across Swizzels’ social media channels and on the website. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
  22. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  23. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter, X or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Swizzels Matlow Limited. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the following Privacy Policy found at swizzels.com/privacy-policy.

 

On the Beach – Holiday Voucher Prize terms and conditions

 

  1. The following terms apply to the On the Beach (OTB) holiday voucher prize:

 

  • The prize is a holiday voucher which is redeemable against any package holiday (that includes flight and accommodation) which is advertised on the Co-Promoter’s website onthebeach.co.uk.
  • The prize can be redeemed against a holiday of any duration, any board type and to any destination which is advertised on the Co-Promoter’s website (onthebeach.co.uk). flying from a UK airport and on leading room types, provided that such holiday includes both a flight and accommodation. The prize cannot be redeemed against flight only or hotel only bookings.
  • The prize must be booked by 31/12/2024 and travel completed within 12 months of this date. If the prize has not been booked, taken up and concluded by this date, the prize shall be deemed forfeited. No extension is possible.
  • At least one member of the travelling party must be aged over 18 or over.
  • The prize has a maximum value of £5,000 only. Any cost above this amount is the responsibility of the winner of the prize and must be paid in full at the time of booking. No alternative payment plan or method shall be available to a winner in any circumstance.
  • The prize does not include travel insurance, spending money, any amounts payable locally such as resort fees, tourist and/or other taxes, ancillaries such as seat reservations and baggage and any other items or expenses not listed in the prize description. The winner and their travelling party are responsible for charges that apply for any food, beverages or services outside of their chosen board basis plans. All such costs and expenses will be the responsibility of the winner and members of their travelling party.
  • The prize does not include transfers in the UK to or from the chosen UK airport. The winner and their travelling party are responsible for arranging and paying for transfers to and from the chosen UK airport.
  • The winner and their travelling party are responsible for ensuring they hold a valid passport and any necessary visa to travel, hold all adequate travel insurance policies, and comply with any other terms and conditions applicable to the prize.
  • Any booking made to redeem the prize is subject to OTB’s separate terms of business, and the terms and conditions of the suppliers of the flights and accommodation. Copies of these terms can be found on OTB’s website (onthebeach.co.uk/terms_of_business).
  • Any optional purchases or supplements are subject to the Co-Promoter’s terms and conditions. Any changes made after the booking has been processed are subject to amendment fees.
  • It is the responsibility of each winner to inform the Co-Promoter of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the winner and/or their travelling party when taking up the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.
  • Once OTB has been informed of the winner by the Promoter (Swizzels) of the competition, the winner must contact us via winners@onthebeach.co.uk to claim their prize. The prize cannot be redeemed online, it can only be redeemed through making a booking with Co-Promoter by telephone.
  • Any fees or costs associated with or incidental to the acceptance or use of the prize (other than delivery of the same in accordance with these terms) will be the responsibility of the winner.
  • The prize is subject to availability at the required travel date. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and has no cash value. No cash equivalent will be given. No refunds will be given in the event the winner cancels the holiday or is unable to travel.
  • OTB will process personal data in line with it’s privacy policy, which can be found at: onthebeach.co.uk/privacy.
