Terms and conditions

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry and claim instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions and by entering this promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

ELIGIBILITY

  1.  The promotion is open to GB residents, aged 18+ only, and excludes employees and the immediate families of the Promoter, its affiliated companies, agents, or anyone else professionally connected to the promotion, including Co-op and Co-op Live.

  2. Purchase necessary. Please retain receipt from Co-op stores for Squashies 120g pack as proof of purchase.

  3. Internet access required.

  4. Maximum of one prize type, Co-op Live Event Tickets pair or Squashies Bundle, per person during the promotional period. One individual can win one of each prize type only.

  5. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups, agents, third parties, or syndicates will not be accepted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of programme, application, script, brute force or any other automated means, that person’s entries will be disqualified, and any prize awarded will be void.


PROMOTIONAL PERIOD

  1. The promotional period in which to win tickets is between 00:01 14/08/24 – 23:59 15/09/24. Entries outside of this period will not be accepted.

  2. The winners will be contacted by 27/09/24 by email. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 48 business hours of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.


HOW TO ENTER

  1. The competition can be entered in two ways:
    1.Scan the QR Code on the promotional displays in Co-op Stores, & submit details alongside last 4 digits of the barcode to enter.

    2. Enter via the website visit www.swizzels.com/coop-live & submit details alongside last 4 digits of the barcode to enter.

  1. Maximum of 1 entry per person per day.

  2. Incomplete, illegible, misdirected, or entries received outside any promotional period will not be accepted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries delayed, incomplete, or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.

  3. Winners will be selected at random from all compliant entries, within the promotional period.

PRIZE DETAILS

  1. There are 20x pairs of tickets to a Co-op Live concert or comedy night to be won plus 10 x Squashies Bundles to be won between 00:01 14/08/24 – 23:59 15/09/24.
  2. Maximum one (1) pair of tickets per winner.
  3. Each prize is for two (2) tickets for an applicable concert or comedy act at Co-op Live (from an available selection and subject to availability) in Manchester. Tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
  4. Co-op Live event tickets must be redeemed by 23:59 on 28/03/25.
  5. The tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, cannot be exchanged and are not for resale. If a winner tries to resell a ticket, the ticket will be void. No cash alternative is available.
  6. The prize does not include travel to and from the event, food and drink, accommodation, travel insurance or any other associated cost.
  7. ID may be required before you are allowed entry to the event and you may be refused entry if you do not provide suitable photographic ID (such as a passport or driving licence).
  8. You will need to download the Co-op Live app to access your tickets.
  9. Use of tickets may be subject to additional terms and conditions of the ticket issuer, event organiser or other third party.
  10. You acknowledge personal data may be collected by the promoter and/or Co-op live. Any data received in the course of the promotion will be used in accordance with applicable data protection law and/or in accordance with the promoter’s privacy policy – available on www.swizzels.com.
  11. This promotion is run by Swizzels Matlow Limited. This is not an Eastlands Arena Limited (trading as Co-op Live) prize draw and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Co-op Live excludes all liability in connection with this promotion.   12. There will be 10x Squashies Bundles to be won, these will contain 10 bags of Squashies 120g bags.

VERIFICATION

  1. It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide correct, up-to-date contact details when entering the promotion and accepting their prize. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information that affects prize acceptance or delivery of their prize.
  2. The Promoter will make available the winners’ surnames and counties to members of the public or regulators who request such details within 3 months of the closing date of this promotion. Entrants can object to disclosure, or request that disclosure be limited in scope by contacting queries@swizzels.com. We may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so. You may request a copy of the winner’s list by emailing queries@swizzels.com.

LIABILITY

  1. If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion modify or suspend the promotion or invalidate any affected entries. If an act, omission, event, or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms and Conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
  2. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death, and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
  3. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions, and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
  4. The Promoter’s decision is final with regard to all promotional matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
  5. The Promoter has no control over internet or communication networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter will not be held liable to any individual for any fraud committed by any third party nor for any event beyond its control including, but not limited to, user error and any network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind which may restrict, delay or prevent a participant’s entry to the Promotion.
  6. These Terms and Conditions (and any non-contractual issues which arise out of or in connection with them) will be governed by relevant local law with any disputes as to the meaning of these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts unless you live in Scotland, in which case your local courts will have jurisdiction.

DATA PROTECTION

  1. The Promoter and Co-op Live may collect personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and other applicable data privacy laws. The Promoter and Co-op Live will only use the personal details supplied for the administration and management of the promotion and for verifying the eligibility of the winner and for no other purpose unless we have your consent. You acknowledge that the Promoter may pass such information to its third-party agency, solely for the purposes of administering the promotion. By participating in the Promotion, you agree to the use of your personal data as described here.
  2. You are providing your information to the Promoter and its partner agencies. All data obtained will be deleted within 6 months of the promotion end date.

  1. The winners may be requested to allow the use of their name and image in any publicity material or on social media.
