My nan is 89 and she crochets blankets for the baby unit in our local hospital and the local charity shops. She handed 28 into the local charity shop at Christmas. They cost her about £3 a blanket but she does it as she enjoys making them and giving to the community. I think it would be lovely to win her a dream date and give her a little surprise for all her hard work.
