I’m so excited to have Martin home for good. Martin has just finished 10 years service in the RAF, serving many times in Iraq and Afghanistan. He is the bravest man I know, but never acts like what he has done and achieved is anything more than just doing his job. He never complains, though he always misses birthdays and Christmas’s – he keeps up a chipper, positive attitude, always saying ‘one less sleep’ instead of ‘one more day away’. He recently surprised us all on Christmas Eve by arriving home to spend the holidays with us – everyday he’s a rock to us. But this Christmas was extra special.
