We are asking our fans to share their weird and wonderful ways to eat Marvellous Mallows. From mallow sushi, to mallow mac n cheese, to mallows in a yorkie pud with gravy – whatever the concoction, we want to see it. Will you create something that is marvellous or madness?

Swizzels x Marvellous or Madness competition T&Cs

UK, 16+ only. Promotion Period starts: 01.04.23, ends: 31.05.23. Entries featuring individuals under 18 must have their parent or guardian’s permission. Purchase necessary. Take part in our Marvellous or Madness competition by creating a ‘Marvellous’ or ‘Madness’ creation with our Marvellous Mallows for a chance to win prizes (see below). Competition will be on all our Swizzels social channels, Swizzels Facebook, Twitter, TikTok or Instagram page.

Please read these competition rules carefully. If you enter the ‘Marvellous or Madness’ competition, we will assume that you have read these rules and that you agree to abide by them.

  1. The promoter is: Swizzels Matlow Limited (company no 00562269) whose registered office is at Carlton House, Albion Road, New Mills, High Peak, Derbyshire, SK22 3HA.
  2. Employees of Swizzels Matlow Limited or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition. The competition is open to residents of UK only.
  3. Internet access is required, and entrants must have either an active Instagram or TikTok account. If you do not have an account, you will need to create one in order to participate – you will require an active email address in order to do this.
  4. Entrants must be 16 years old and above. Entries featuring individuals under 18 must have their parent or guardian’s permission
  5. There is no entry fee to enter this competition.
  6. Closing date for entry to competition is Wednesday 31st May 2023.
  7. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  8. Entries will be accepted from United Kingdom only.
  9. The competition can be entered in four ways:
  10. Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/SwizzelsMatlow), comment and upload your creation photo in the comments on any of our Mallows posts between 1st April – 31st May 2023.
  11. Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/swizzels_sweets) upload your creation to your Instagram page, tag @swizzels_sweets and use hashtag #MarvellousOrMadness.
  12. Twitter (https://twitter.com/SwizzelsMatlow) comment and upload your creation photo in the comments on any of our Mallows posts between 1st April – 31st May 2023. Use the hashtag #MarvellousOrMadness and tag @swizzels_sweets
  13. TikTok (https://www.tiktok.com/@swizzels_sweets) upload your creation to TikTok, tag @swizzels_sweets, and use hashtag #MarvellousOrMadness
  14. Prizes: If you create a ‘Marvellous’ creation, you will win a Marvellous prize from the list below. If you create a ‘Madness’ creation, you will win a Madness prize.

  1. Virgin Experience Days Voucher T&Cs: Once you receive your gift card, you will have 12 months from the date of purchase to spend the balance of the gift card on an experience day voucher. The gift card is applied at checkout on the Virgin Experience Days website. This experience day voucher will then come with a further expiration period of 9-12 months *dependent on experience*
  2. We will not accept competition entries that are:
  3. automatically generated by computer, macros or other automated means;
  4. completed by third parties, trade or consumer group and/or in bulk;
  5. illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
  6. copies and not originals; or
  8. Winner selection criteria: There will be 2x winners per week, one ‘madness’ and one ‘marvellous’. Entries will be judged on their:
  9. Creativity and flair in their attempt at the Marvellous or Madness creation
  10. The winners will be contacted within 1 week by direct message on social media. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 48 hours of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
  11. Any entry will be forfeited if the promoter cannot view the entry image due to the Social Media profile being set to private.
  12. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  13. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
  14. Delivery of prizes could be between 14 days – 28days before they are sent out to winners.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  1. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. All entrants’ statutory rights are not affected.
  2. In any event, liability of the Promoter is limited to the maximum value of £1,000.
  3. The Promoter is not liable for any costs incurred by winners in the redemption of any of the Prizes.
  4. Neither the Promoter, its employees or agents shall have any responsibility or liability for any of the following:
  5. Any incorrect or inaccurate entry made;
  6. Any system failures on any of the websites or platforms being utilised to run the Competition;
  7. Any third party’s failure to fulfil its obligations under these Terms and Conditions; and
  8. Any third-party failure that results in the interruption or cancellation of the Competition and/or any Prize that may be associated with the Competition.
  9. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
  10. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, across Swizzels’ social media channels and on the website, and in press. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
  11. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
