  1. The co-promoters are:

  1. Swizzels Matlow is responsible for the fulfilment of the Swizzels prizes, namely sweets and Swizzels branded merchandise
  2. Trending Travel is responsible for the fulfilment of the trip to Lapland, including flights and transfers
  3. Hamleys of London is responsible for the fulfilment of the £500 shopping spree and VIP experience at a Hamleys store.

  7. Employees of the co-promoters or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.
  8. The competition is open to UK & ROI residents only.
  9. Entrants must be 18 years old and above.
  10. There is no entry fee.
  11. Closing time/date for entry 11:59pm on 20 Dec 2022.  A winner will be chosen and informed within 7 working days from that date.  The winner must acknowledge they have won to Swizzels by 6th January 2023
  12. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  13. There will be one main prize winner, whose name will be chosen at random by the co-promoters.
  14. The main prize is:
  1. A 2023 trip to Lapland for 4 people (2 Adults and 2 Children) including flights and transfers, supplied by Trending Travel
  2. a VIP Hamleys experience at either their flagship Regent Street Store, or a regional store chosen by the winner, including a £500 shopping spree. The winner must be responsible for making their own travel arrangements, at their own cost, to get to Hamleys Regent Street.  Hamleys will reimburse travel expenses to Hamleys Regent Street up to a total of £100.  The VIP Experience and shopping spree are both supplied by Hamleys.
  3. Swizzels sweets and merchandise, supplied by Swizzels.
  1. The prize in whole or in part is non-transferable.
  2. The winner will be contacted by e-mail or telephone. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize by 6th January 2023, the co-promoters reserve the right to withdraw the prize and pick a replacement winner.
  3. The co-promoters decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  4. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the co-promoters.
  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
    1. Insofar as is permitted by law, the co-promoters, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the co-promoters, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. All entrants’ statutory rights are not affected.
    2. In any event, liability of the co-promoters is limited to the maximum value of £100.
      The co-promoters are not liable for any costs incurred by winners in the redemption of the Prize.
    3. Neither the co-promoters, its employees or agents shall have any responsibility or liability for any of the following:
      • Any incorrect or inaccurate entry made;
      • Any system failures on any of the websites or platforms being utilised to run the Competition;
      • Any third party’s failure to fulfil its obligations under these Terms and Conditions; and
      • Any third-party failure that results in the interruption or cancellation of the Competition and/or any Prize that may be associated with the Competition.
  1. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
  2. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, across all co-promoters social media channels and on their websites. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
  3. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Trending Travel’s Specific Terms & conditions relating to the 2 night stay in Lapland, flights and transfers

 

Prize holiday details:

  1. 2 Adult Economy Class flights to Lapland – from the following airports of your choice: Gatwick / Heathrow / Manchester subject to availability. All airport taxes are included in this prize. Hold luggage for 2 people (minimum 15kg each). Dependent on chosen airline restrictions.
  2. 2 Child Economy Class flights to Lapland – from the following airports of your choice: Gatwick / Heathrow / Manchester subject to availability. Hold luggage for 2 people (minimum 15kg each). Dependent on chosen airline restrictions. All airport taxes are included in this prize.
    1. A 2-night stay in a family hotel- one room accommodating up to a family of 4. Additions available at a surcharge. Transfers to the resort and airport are included.
    2. Prior reservation is required by the bearer and booking is subject to availability.
    3. Valid for travel from 20th November 2023 – 17thDecember 2023
    4. Prize is subject to promotional availability.
    5. Additional charges will apply for any food, beverages or services outside of the booked plan.
    6. This prize is not valid in conjunction with any other offers or promotions and is not refundable nor exchangeable in cash or any other services.
  3. Entrants’ data will be used for the purpose of administration of this prize competition and in accordance with the permissions granted or withheld at the point of entry. Entrants also agree to share their customer profiles and contact information with Trending Travel Ltd and partners.
  4. Events may occur that render the competition of awarding the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and accordingly the Promoter may at Trending Travel’s absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result thereof.
  5. The winner must agree to the Trending Travel Ltd standard booking terms and conditions.
  6. The prize and dates are subject to flight and hotel availability at the time of request and may only be taken during the time frames specified in the individual prize terms. Please note, the prize is limited on the flights and may be unavailable even if there is general availability on a particular flight.
  7. The prize is subject to the Trending Travel Ltd general terms and conditions which can be found attrendingtravel.co.uk terms-and conditions. In the event of any conflict, these Holiday Prize Draw Terms and Conditions shall take precedence.
  8. Any optional purchases or supplements are extra and are subject to the standard Trending Travel Ltd terms and conditions and any applicable charges must be paid for by the winner at the time of booking for all the travelling party.
  9. The prize duration cannot be extended unless agreed by Trending Travel, and the hotel and/or room type will not be changed by the winner. Any additional passengers booked will be charged at normal rates for additional flights and rooms. Please note, once you have made a booking you cannot amend the travel dates.
  10. The prize does not include travel between the winner’s home and airport, personal expenditure or incidental costs, other than where mentioned. The prize does not include petrol or parking. It is the responsibility of the prize-winner and guests to ensure that they have a valid passports, health insurance and travel insurance and obtain any necessary vaccinations and visas for their trip. Visa must be submitted 6 weeks ahead of departure and any failure to do so, or if the visa is being refused, no compensation can be given.
  11. Covid 19 – Should your prize be disrupted by Covid-19 Trending Travel will make best endeavours to rearrange and rebook the winner at a different time. This will be subject to availability, government and FCO advice and regulation.
  12. Trending Travel Ltd will not be liable for any cancellations or changes to the prize draw or the prizes, or for any loss or damage. Nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit the liability of Trending Travel Ltd in relation to personal injury or death caused by Trending Travel Ltd negligence or for fraud.
  13. Trending Travel retain the right to repurpose all social media content generated on the prize for the use on all trending travel social media channels and trendingtravel.co.uk .
  14. These terms are subject to English Law and by submitting an entry, Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
  15. Trending Travel Ltd reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at their absolute discretion.
  16. Entrants’ details will be used to administer the competition. When entering the competition, entrants will be invited to opt in to receiving marketing from Trending Travel Ltd. If entrants choose to opt in, their details will be retained by Trending Travel Ltd for the purposes of marketing (which may include activities such as passing on information about deals, offers and promotion codes from Trending Travel Ltd).
